Assets and metadata
An asset represents an image managed by Collectioo. It connects the source image with descriptive information and processed renditions.
Source and renditions
Section titled “Source and renditions”The source is the image supplied to the library. Processing can create renditions for different uses. Distinguish the original image from a rendition when selecting content for delivery.
Metadata
Section titled “Metadata”Metadata provides context for an image: what it shows, how it is described, and how it should be found. Collectioo supports enriching images with descriptive information.
Review descriptive information before relying on it for publication. A well-organized library combines useful metadata with collections.
